AnC Precision and Scaled Composites Project
AnC Precision was asked in 2007 by Scaled Composites to produce the majority of non-composite parts for the White Knight II/Spaceship II project. The highlight of this project was producing all the Custom landing gear for the first commercial spaceship on earth.
One of the parts, pictured below, started as a forged block of aluminum weighing over 2000 pounds. When finished the completed part finished at just over 50 lbs.
