A New Concept in Tube Testing

AnC Precision has developed new technology which analyzes all of the parameters required to heat seal a tube. This new system allows the operator to accurately adjust all of the sealing parameters: temperature, dwell, pressure, and gap using various hot air nozzles and sealing jaws. The data is recorded and provides a complete “fingerprint” of the tube which can be sent to your computer, analyzed, stored, and later compared.

Technicians can simulate the sealing production process and experiment with parameters and testing conditions to maximize throughput and efficiency by collecting data and validating all tube sections: header seam, side and end seals.

All sealing and testing parameters are recorded for traceability allowing tube manufacturers to verify quality and integrity before shipping to tube filling companies and provide incoming quality inspection for the tube filling companies. In addition, many secondary operations are performed on tubes between their manufacture and filling. Each of these steps can have an adverse effect on the tube’s sealing ability. The TTS-1000 test instrument verifies quality after each secondary process. These test procedures establish the sealing parameters to be used during production to speed the set-up process.

Do I need a computer at the station to operate the TTS-1000?

No, the TTS-1000 arrives pre-loaded with all operational firmware installed. Machine variables can all be set and changed via the touch-screen front panel interface) However the computer is needed for logging the force gauge and creating a complete “fingerprint”.

Does the TTS-1000 create any physical documentation from the tube testing process?

Yes, the TTS-1000 has the capability to print all parameters and test data to a serial printer.

Does the TTS-1000 log and save test data from both the sealing process and the burst testing process?

Yes, the TTS-1000 records and saves data from the tests and can output the test data to a network attached computer via ethernet.
